You will be a part of ABB Measurement and Analytics in Västerås, which is a business unit within the Process Automation Business. We develop and provide a comprehensive range of force and dimension measurement products designed to improve control, productivity and quality in a wide variety of processes and industries. Our unique basic technology principles are well suited for harsh environments, which has provided us with a long track record of satisfied customers. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will oversee Technical Product Managers in order to meet the requirements on Product Lifecycle Management.


Your responsibilities
People and competency management in the Product Engineering function.
Providing product support to customers and local operations.
Providing input to and execute product life cycle plans.
Recommending, developing, and improving processes and procedures to enhance team performance.
Applying appropriate development and quality standards, and monitors product quality and change requests to identify issues.
Monitoring and implementing changes in product certification requirements.
Overseeing and assisting with transfer of knowledge within the team and between internal partners.
Evaluate and manage risk and opportunities.



Your background
Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
At least 5 years' experience in similar roles working with industrial products.
Sound knowledge of Product development, Product Lifecycle Management, Product certifications and Continuous improvements.
A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
Fluency in Swedish and English language, writing and speaking.
