About the role

Based in Malmö, your responsibility is to ensure the quality of our new products before their launch on the market.

As a Product Engineering Tester you will play a significant role in the team and gain a wide knowledge of the ecosystem of our products and services by executing tests, reporting defects, preparing test reports and proposing new ideas and solutions for testing products.

You are expected to be exposed to testing both software and hardware while working closely with Embedded Software Engineers in order to create and execute software centric test cases vital to validate the function and reliability of software running on a discrete device.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the Product Development teams in debugging and analyse faults as well as the Product Owners to understand the requirements. You will manage pilots including review of installations and measuring performance (KPIs) and translate certificate specifications into test specifications.

The full team consists of approximately 35 people: 25 Software Developers, 5 Testers, 3 Hardware Engineers and 2 Tech Leads. 

About the candidate profile - What you bring

We are looking for a natural problem solver who has the ability to create a clear picture from abstract problems. You have a structured approach and enjoy working methodically thanks to your ability to collect, analyze and evaluate information necessary to make valuable suggestions and facilitate thorough decision-making.

You are persistent and capable of following through led by your positive attitude and “can do” approach.

A successful candidate is also equipped with outstanding communication and listening skills resulting in a natural ability to establish trustful work relationships across all levels and ensure collaborative teamwork.

You enjoy working in an environment with quickly changing requirements but with a long-term vision.

Qualifications
* University degree or equivalent
* ISTQB certified
* Familiar with CE/EN certification
* At least 5 years´ of experience in the role
* Professional experience with test methodologies and test management
* Prior experience as Tester in an IOT type product environment (HW, SW devices, backend)
* Proficient English skills
