Product Group Manager, well-being & cat litter


As our team member is moving to another position in the organization, we are looking for Product Group Manager to fill a permanent position.

As a Product Group Manager you are an engaged team member in Musti Group’s Category and Campaign team. You focus on increasing customer loyalty through active category management and assortment planning. You are responsible of developing and implementing the optimal consumer offer. You will set competitive consumer prices and secure sales and margin targets. You will manage the product and brand development within the portfolio in the Nordic level and take care of supplier relations regarding assortment planning and master data collection. You will lead some of the biggest and most important categories and brands in the Musti portfolio. You closely follow the Nordic pet market, understand the pet and customer need, and aim to provide the best assortment to the Nordic pets and their parents.

What are we looking for?
Personally you are analytical, structured and a good initiator. You have innovative mindset and drive. As you have many contact points in the organization, we expect you to be a true team player and have good communication skills. You are ready to work independently in you area of knowledge. What comes to your background and skills, we have listed some things to succeed in this role.

- Solid experience in category/product management and in retail. You might have worked as a product/category manager in retail and/or FMCG industry. Experience from well-being sector is a plus.
- Proven track record of running and completing successful product development projects. You have ability to steer recipe development with suppliers
- True interest towards exploring consumer needs and trends
- Readiness to drive your category analytically and with a business mindset
- Willingness both to create & innovate and to perform practical tasks like master data management as a part of your everyday work
- Your educational background is a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Excellent MS Office skills, and fluency in English
- Knowing pet and/or food industries and/or having dogs/cats as your active hobby are appreciated but they are not musts
- Experience of QlickSense, Relex and category management systems are considered as advantages.

This position is placed in Helsinki, Käpylä or in Stockholm, Solna depending on the candidate. We often have dogs in the office therefore the work is not suitable for a person who is allergic to pets.
