The Product Information team belongs to a part of Sales & Marketing that is called “Presales and Sales readiness”. Together we are driving Scanias´s development of presales- and sales processes as well as leading introductions of new products and services. Our common mission is to make it easy for our customers to buy Scania´s tailor-made solutions.
Assignment
In the Product Information team we are currently six Product Information Managers with the overall responsibility to create accurate and qualitative product content, in order to enable sales across our Sales & Marketing channels.
As Product Information Manager you will have a close contact with our Research & Development department, monitoring product and service development linked to Scania´s trucks and buses. You will translate technical news and updates into market adapted product information. You will create information from a holistic view, were you describe complete solutions, as well as from a very detailed customer option perspective. Regardless of whether the information is at an overall or detailed level, you always have the customer's perception in mind and your product information always gives a clear understanding of the customer values.
In addition to this you will be involved in cross functional projects, such as market introduction projects, and have interaction with relevant business areas within Sales & Marketing, Communication and Academy.
Your profile
To be successful in this role we believe that you:
• Have very good communication skills
• Like to make complicated information easy to understand
• Find it easy to express yourself in Swedish as well as English
• Have a central interest in working with technical matters
• Are curious about how things work and like to take initiative and search for the information that you need
• Are comfortable working independently
• Work structured and persistent to complete your task even though information is not always easily accessible
• Are skilled at planning and organizing your work based on an overall perspective.
We think that you have a relevant education within the field or that you have previous experience from working with product information, technical communication or similar professional areas. Furthermore, we believe that you have a significant interest in the automotive industry and if you also have specific knowledge linked to Scania's products and services, this is seen as a merit.
