Product Information Master Data Manager

How will you make an impact?
As more countries require population of their respective databases (e.g. for UDI) with extensive information about our products you will play an important role to secure compliance through excellence in product master data management.
As the Product Information Master Data Manager you will support IDD in fulfilling reporting requirements to authorities and customers globally. You will be a member of our Marketed Product Support team consisting of process owners and subject matter experts in different fields.
You will be the owner of the IDD UDI process and the product information master data management system. You will act as the main IDD liaison to address new or updated requirements (e.g. for UDI) and assess impact on our master data management and related processes.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience working with process development and with master data management systems and/or product life cycle management systems.
What will you do?
• Govern the UDI process and the product information master data management system
• Work strategically and use synergies between country requirements to align product data specifications, definitions, data gathering and verification
• Map out country/region specific product information data requirements for the entire Product Portfolio and coordinate data gathering with data owners (e.g. R&D, Marketing and QA/RA)
• Set scope and requirement specifications (URS) in close collaboration with IT and internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute as the UDI subject matter expert in product development and product care projects and in governance forums
• Maintain processes and instructions to ensure the highest level of continued compliance with regulatory and customer requirements in all relevant markets
• Serve as the main point of contact to other divisions and local/regional partners and engage with international regulators/customers when required
Required Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will be educated to BSc/MSc level, preferably in a life science or engineering discipline or equivalent
• Experience from working in the pharmaceutical or IVD/Medical Device industry governed by regulations ISO13485 and QSR
• Process development, management and improvement experience
• Prior working knowledge of Master Data Management solutions, PLM systems or other similar Master Data systems is advantageous
• Experience in requirement gathering and creation of specifications with different stakeholders is preferred
