The industry in which we operate is quickly becoming more digitalized and automated, meaning that the need for correct and adequate product data is one of the corner stones in the digital journey we have ahead of us - often referred to as Industry 4.0. The Product Information and Data Management department within Sandvik Coromant is responsible for ensuring that relevant, correct and complete information is available to our customers and internal users. Our responsibility range from processes and platforms as well as information models, structures and classifications, and it also includes development of the industry standard for exchange of information.
We are now offering an exciting position with great potential for a person who wants to develop a key role in the digitalization of Sandvik Coromant. Do you want to be that person by participating on the continued journey in the digital arena? We are looking for a Product Information Specialist to join our team of eleven co-workers. The position and the team are located in Sandviken, Sweden, but we work in a global network.
Key performance areas
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that our processes and information are supporting our digital channels and offers with correct and required information. You propose improvements related to process efficiency, information consistency and data quality. This also means that you are involved in driving necessary changes in the organization.
As we interact and collaborate with global stakeholders, travel is a natural part of this position.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical education from high school or university. You have broad knowledge of product lifecycle management and a good understanding of information architecture, as well as experiences from business information models, in particular within Product Information. Knowledge of the Coromant product portfolio or the metal cutting area is considered advantageous. As we act on the global stage, you have great communication skills in English and Swedish, in both writing and speaking.
