Arbetsbeskrivning
What do Mars rockets, smartphones and exclusive watches have in common? – They’re made using Sandvik Coromant tools and solutions to ensure the highest level of precision, quality and productivity! Although we usually might be recognized as an industrial company, we’re also one of the biggest IT organizations of the region, aiming to become a leader within digital solutions. Learn more about us in this Youtube video (link).
We’re right now gearing up for big changes – such as one of the biggest current ERP implementations of the Nordic region, as well as a Product Information Management (PIM) initiative, AI and increased automation – all in order to create a seamless flow of information across our organization. We’re therefore searching for new talents to join us on this dynamic journey and strengthen our Product Information department. Being responsible for handling and providing product data for the whole company as well as for customers and partners, we’re a key player in the revolution towards a fully digitalized organization.
To join our Product Information to Customer team, we’re looking for a Product Information Specialist – someone who’s structured, analytical, result-oriented and a good problem solver. This job is for you who wants to focus on your specific field of expertise, such as product drawings and models for example.
Diving deep into our product data, you develop and manage our product information landscape and take care of new information needs from users. You act as a subject matter expert within the product data area, supporting the business in using the data, for example during development of new products, concepts and software. Also supporting the change projects, you develop new structures and definitions for exchange of information and ensure the implementation of relevant standards.
This position gives you some flexibility to choose your own working location, although weekly presence at our site in Sandviken is needed post Covid-19, in order to maintain strong personal networks and smooth collaboration.
Working for Sandvik means that every day, through your actions, you contribute to important shifts in the world. Listen to what three of your future colleagues got to say about their work at Sandvik Coromant (link).
