About this opportunity
Our sector, Product Integrity Services (PIS), provide Public Key Infrastructure management, Malware Scanning Services and Data Signing Services for Ericsson products across the company. Our organization is also known as EPPKI, Ericsson Product PKI.
For the services we provide, we have the full responsibility for the complete stack. This includes for example hardware installations, platform deployment, development and maintenance of services and finally, the operation and customer support of the same. We do this together with teams in Finland.
Due to growing need of integrity and authenticity, we need to expand our operation with a DevOps Engineer in one of the XFT’s in Stockholm/Sweden.
We are hosted in a Product Development Unit called Digital Production System (PDU DPS) which is one of the PDUs within Business Unit Networks (BNEW).
What you will do
We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer who will focus on the operational support for the service we provide. You will do this in close cooperation with our users across Ericsson and our own Infra & Platform Team.
Your primary responsibilities lie within the production environment but not limited to. Besides, contribution to other team tasks such as Feature Implementation, Test Automation, and CI monitoring/troubleshooting is also expected.
You will work in an end-to-end team in Stockholm/Sweden which have daily interaction with PIS teams in Finland.
Your main responsibility will be:
Regular ticket review, root cause analysis and participation to incident response.
Deployment and Maintenance of changes for java-based applications.
Identification and automation of manually performed tasks.
Development of new features, including test automation.
Co-operate with, and support our own Infra and Platform Team.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
Be responsible for documentation being accurate and informative.
Communicate cross teams.
Contribute to problem investigations and troubleshooting on service levels.
You will bring
Bachelor/Master’s degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Some years of work experience of Operation in Application domain.
Experience using hypervisors and virtualization, such as VMware vSphere product family.
Experience of Linux (preferably Red Hat) and good scripting skills (Python and Bash).
Experience of programming in Java and test automation using JCAT/TestNG.
Good problem solving and interpersonal skills and possess a can-do attitude.
Good team-collaboration skills and enjoy of sharing knowledge and taking initiatives that will contribute to team success.
