Product Labelling Specialist, Global Product Compliance Department

The Global Product Compliance Department is responsible for setting requirements for the H&M group’s consumer products according to legislation. This includes product safety, labelling, chemical and physical test methods.
 
We are now looking for a product labelling specialist who together with a colleague, will be accountable of securing H&M’s labelling requirements for textile products.
 
The main responsibilities of the role include:
·  Responsible for textile product labelling in all countries and for all brands within the H&M group
·  Challenge and evaluate labelling requirements and set importance in relation to H&M’s product range
·  Set, implement and update labelling routines and requirements within the H&M group
·  Proactively identify potential risks
·  Ensure that all instructions are relevant and workable for the Supply Chain
·  Strive to streamline labelling requirements in order to save costs and material
·  Support the Supply Chain in labelling issues
·  Ensure that all relevant staff are kept updated about labelling requirements
·  Educate concerned colleagues when required
 
 
We are looking for you who:
·  Have strong interest in research and legal requirements
·  Have knowledge about buying and/or production methods
·  Have relevant University Degree (preferably within the textile field)
·  Have ability to foresee consequences of decisions
·  Have ability to turn complex information into simplified requirements and workable routines
·  Have good networking skills and enjoy working in teams
·  Have great written and verbal English communication skills
