Business Area Children and Lighting is having ambitious plans to continue developing and securing our top position. We are now looking for a Product Lifecycle Engineer in the Lighting area.
Job Description
As a Product Lifecycle Engineer:
Work with updates of documentation for existing products, as well as with improvements of the products.
Secure that our products are legally compliant in all markets throughout product lifecycle.
Support in activities connected to new IKEA markets as well as updates of the marking of the product, certificate renewals.
Work closely with the engineers in the product development teams as well as to have a close dialogue with the purchasing organization, suppliers, and third-party test laboratories to secure for the successful product- implementation.
Working with several teams and product areas in parallel.
Having good insight to interpret regulations and also take the lead to implement updates of the requirements and test methods when it will influence the different product types.

Qualifications
Have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in working with product documentation in product development process.
Have advantage if you have experience in working with electrics and electronics.
Your knowledge in 3D drawings and SolidWorks will be considered as an added advantage.
Work in a structured way with analytical skills and to take the lead in your own work as well as in your contacts with internal and external stakeholders.
You have basic supply chain knowledge and are skilled in requirement management and verification planning.
Furthermore, you have strong communication skills and the ability to build relations.
You should be driven to lead a task, and also a goal- and delivery-oriented person with a passion for details.
We believe that you are highly committed and self-driven person.
IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world and you therefore need to be fluent in English both verbal and written.
