We are now looking for a Product Lifecycle Engineer.
Job Description
Secure that the product documentation is correct, up-to-date, and according to IKEA guidelines and standards.
Responsible to perform moderate changes on products including technical requirements, labels & markings etc.
Responsible to find and act on gaps in product documentation
Contribute to secure that our products are legally compliant in all markets throughout product lifecycle.
Work closely with engineers in several teams including purchasing organization and several product areas in parallel.

Qualifications
Have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in working with product development and/or creation and maintenance of product documentation.
Have advantage if you have experience in working with children's products.
Your knowledge in 3D drawings and SolidWorks will be considered as an added advantage.
Work in a structured way with analytical skills and to take the lead in your own work as well as in your contacts with internal and external stakeholders.
You have basic supply chain knowledge and are skilled in requirement management and verification planning.
Furthermore, you have strong communication skills and the ability to create confidence and build relations.
You are self-motivated and a goal- and delivery-oriented person with a passion for details.
We believe that you are highly committed and self-driven person.
IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world and you therefore need to be fluent in English both verbal and written.

The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
