Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Specialist to support us in the implementation, maintenance and development of our PLM system 3DExperience. This will include:

Identification of needs for the PLM system among the Heart Aerospace design organization, including processes, methods, templates, instructions,

Creation and implementation of our methods and procedures in the PLM platform

Administration of PLM platform, responsible for PLM configuration and maintenance, along with defining workflows, attributes, user profiles, etc.

Technical support for designers and suppliers using the PLM system

Primary focal point for coordination and communication with PLM suppliers

Development and implementation of solutions for the adaption, individualisation, and improvement of our PLM system

Integration of the PLM system into our tools and methods ecosystem

Development and maintenance of training related material for our designers

Support continuous learning in the field of CAD and PLM for our design organisation

Development and implementation of CAD methodology, best practices, and training
-
Development, deployment, and execution of onboarding training routines for new designers
You will report to the Head of Central Engineering Functions & Integration.
Qualifications & Experience
-
BSc degree in Engineering
-
Minimum 5 years of experience working with PLM or related field
-
Experience in PLM implementation (preferably 3DExperience)

Experience with CAD software
-
Experience in use and administration of 3DExperience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Eagerness to work with others

Passion for aircraft and Heart’s mission
The ideal candidate would have

Experience in the aviation industry is desirable but not essential

Experience in full-scale PLM implementation on ‘greenfield’ project

Programming experience
-
Education in product development processes and methodologies

Interest in requirements-based engineering and design automation
-
Experience integrating PLM system with external ERP system
