As part of our new organizational structure, we are looking for a Product Line Manager - Rotary, Raiseboring and HDD equipment. The Atlas Copco Secoroc products have a very good reputation in the market place and are considered the market leader in rock drilling tools when it comes to quality and performance.

We are looking for a strategic, dynamic and marketing oriented person with strong technical skills to develop our products strategy and to manage the product portfolio. The position will work closely with our R&D team to develop and introduce new products.

The person we are looking for should have a strong desire to develop the Product Marketing tools and the marketing organization to support the customers and the Customer Centers.

The position involves considerable international exposure, including international business travel.

Job description/Mission:
Develop and maintain the marketing strategy for the respective product line including market segmentation, planning of the product portfolio, both short- and long term, and prioritizing development, acquisitions or other opportunities. We aim to have a minimum of 30% market share in all markets where Atlas Copco RDT are present.

Develop and maintain the proper strategy to optimize the product portfolio and prune the products to keep a lean and profitable product range. Work actively with the logistic dept. to create and follow the sales/volumes forecasts and production planning.

Track, monitor and analyze the market/customer shares and market/customer share development as well as market segmentation trends and Conduct market surveys collect and Interpret information on present & future customer demands and also create product features for new products and product modifications.

Train and support our sales force with product and application knowledge and added value based sales argumentation. Ensure global technical and application support to all customers, provided by highly skilled and motivated people.

Develop and maintain the product pricing strategy together with the Price Administration department to reach the targeted consolidated margin and sales volume. Implement a global price structure for our Global Strategic Customers.

Continuously seek improvements in efficiency and profitability and strive towards improving customer satisfaction and business relationships. Monitor the red flag issues and claim handling system with the objective to improve the response time and other issues at hand.

Secure close collaboration and alignment with capital divisions business development teams to ensure lowest total cost of ownership for our customers.
