We work in an international environment with many possibilities to meet new people, cultures and challenges."Your success in focus" is a key phrase for us, both in how we approach our customers and how we work with our employees.The positions are based in Sandviken.You and your team will be involved in all aspects of the product management cycle, from developing the product strategy, identifying customer needs and converting them into product specifications, to project monitoring and product introduction.Your main focus will be on developing product and application tactics for the product, in accordance with the targets set for each area in Sandvik Coromant's business plan.You will define and follow up on goals, and develop your team members so that they have the skills required for each position, with both theirs and our customers' success in focus.Your profile You have education equivalent to a Master of Science degree within the area of mechanical engineering, or other relevant education, combined with experience in machining and manufacturing.You are business-minded, preferably with experience of metal cutting and marketing in a global environment. As a person you are genuinely interested in people and their development.Previous experience in leading others is beneficial.You are open to change, with the ability to share your knowledge with others, prioritize tasks and delegate.You take a holistic view and have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.The position involves a number of international contacts and requires fluency in English, in both speaking and writing.Send your application not later than January 4, 2011.
