Product Maintenance Engineer

Atos Medical was founded in 1986 and has today a vast international network with sales companies in the USA, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Brazil and also exclusive distributors serving about 55 countries. Atos Medical started the research and development on the first voice prosthesis in 1987 under the name Provox. Throughout the years, Atos Medical has worked to develop Provox as the leading voice and pulmonary rehabilitation system on the market. At the same time, we now allocate substantial development and training resources to our activities in Ear, Nose and Throat. The head office is situated in Hörby, approximately 25 minutes travel from Lund. We are 420 employees in the group and 180 employees in Hörby (www.atosmedical.com). 

Atos Medical has over the years been very successful in launching new products within the ENT area and we continue to develop new, innovative products. To reinforce our development team we are now looking for a new Product Maintenance Engineer. As a Product Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating the work for some of Atos Medical’s product groups. Y will propose changes for the conduct investigations as well as verifying documents according to our routines. You will work closely with other departments, such as the production unit, marketing, engineering and quality as well as to our suppliers.

You will have extensive, external contacts with clinicians, scientists and consultants, in Sweden as well as worldwide.

Our products, being either voice prostheses or disposable products, are made of medical grade silicone, polymers or metals and are often patent-protected.


Who are you?
We are looking for a person somebody with an Academic degree, preferably a Master, in applied physics, mechanical engineering or similar. You are fluent in English, both verbal and written. Experience from the Medical Device or Life Science area is a merit. Preferably, you have knowledge and skills in CAD (Solid Works) and SAP.
You need to be a service minded, results-oriented and a team player. You are used to work in a fast pace with high quality output. It is meritorious if you have superuser qualifications in SAP Easy Document Management. Flexibility and lack of prestige are other characteristics that we value as very important in our organization.
