Product Management Specialist - Turning

The main goal for our Product Management function is to ensure and maintain a competitive product portfolio within the areas of turning, milling, drilling and machine integration. As a Product Management Specialist you have a key role in all stages of the product life cycle. We are now looking to extend our product area Turning.

Key performance areas
As a Product Manager for General Turning you are responsible for the product strategy, in line with our business strategy. You understand customer needs and translate them into new products. This role involves many contacts, at the headquarters, in all of our subsidiaries and with customers. Further, you create and follow up projects, defining technical marketing and following sales, in close contact with our specialists.

You will work with a core product and application team in a global network of specialists within our sales force, and be responsible for the introduction of new products. In this role you define technical marketing and training requirements and have close contact with key markets to develop knowledge about the application area and forecast future trends. You will report to the product line manager and the position includes some travel.

Your profile
You have at least a Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent, in a relevant technical area. You also have experience of manufacturing, preferably in the area of turning, project leadership and sales in some form. You also have a good feel for business and an interest in technology. Several years of work experience is advantageous. You have good English skills, both writing and speaking.

You are communicative, driven and goal oriented, but with a pedagogical manner that includes listening to others.
