This role will be preferred to be in our Lund, Sweden office.
Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual with an entrepreneurial and growth mindset to assume role of Product Manager in the Digital Services offer management team of Digital Buildings Division. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in creating new capabilities that lead to digitization of traditional field services for building maintenance; generating value for end-users; efficiency and differentiation for SE and its partner network. The Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption, and run building operations more efficiently.
In this global role, you will lead the development for a suite of technical products with multiple R&D teams and collaborate closely with commercial and operations teams to support the offer. The right candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing market leading digital products and solutions for B2B industries. Prior experience in offer creation of web-based analytics platform, award winning UI/UX a strong advantage. The position requires strong communication, influencing and analytic skills, technical and business acumen, relationship development skills and a motivational style. Collaboration and partnering within Schneider Electric’s global organization and across teams is critical for success.
Responsibilities
Own the successful development and evolution of the product portfolio enabling digital services. The role will lead the various activities involved in creating new product functionalities with internal & external R&D team through agile development approach. Engage with offer launch team and operations managers to support development of technical assets and adaptation to reach new segments and geographies. Lead technology anticipation and solution discovery with CTO team, potential technical partners to support exploration of new service offers.
• Lead the product development with R&D teams
• Lead creation of solution assets and initiatives to support commercialization and operations
• Lead new solution discovery, pilots & technology anticipation
Required skills and experiences
• Strong blend of business and technical savvy with a proven track record of creating and delivering new products, solutions and services, while meeting/exceeding market requirements
• Exceptional critical thinking & analytical skills and the ability to make informed & fast decisions related to product feature design and direction
• Must have hands-on experience as a product manager, working with software engineering teams & strong understanding and knowledge of Agile
• Prior experience in Building Automation Technologies or Industrial Services is desired
• Exposure to IoT/Cloud applications and digitally enabled services is a plus
• Driven, decisive, and an unrelenting desire to challenge the status quo
• 5+ years of product management experience or in roles of solution architect
• Willing to travel: 20%
Education qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (computer science, engineering, business, design), MBA a plus.
