About the role

At the highest level, product managers at Quinyx contribute to creating an innovative and intelligent WFM solution that we are proud of, have fun building, which helps our customers enjoy work and reach their business goals. As a Product Manager, you are fundamental in this goal as it is your responsibility to ensure that your team is building the right product, with the right set of priorities, consistent with product vision and business goals.

You will join an agile, cross-functional and distributive team who is responsible for helping develop the scheduling follow up section part of the product. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the functional value and use cases related to schedule compliance, schedule analytics, time & attendance records including absence management, and payroll export processes in our web-based product.

What you’ll be doing

- Create a vision and strategy for the functional area you are product managing that supports the overall product and business vision.
- Make sure that the team is delivering the right things consistent with the product vision and business goals.
- Close collaboration with your cross-functional team to set the roadmap and goals for the team.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation to understand and synthesise users and customers need to support your decisions.
- Articulate “the why” in your own words to the team as well as to internal and external stakeholders.
- Wear the Product Owner hat in your team and be part in Scrum activities relevant to the team: backlog grooming, planning, standup, review, retrospective.
- Understand user and customer needs and problems by interviewing users, analyse data, form hypotheses and try them out, repeat.
- Work to define the metrics and KPIs for your area and measure how these improve over time.
- Have a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt, and providing maintenance and support.
- Documenting clear product requirements (user stories) and their value.


What you’ll bring to the team

- Proven track record in successfully managing initiatives and delivering high-quality products to internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of researching and gathering feedback from target markets, customers, and users (e.g. through competitive analysis, usability studies, etc.), determining the viability of the product, and driving efforts to measure, learn, refine, and/or pivot product development direction accordingly.
- Experience managing different levels of seniority stakeholders to scope new product features.
- Passion about what you do, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think creatively.
- Self-leadership and self-starter attitude to take initiative and move the innovation forward.
- Project management and time management skills
- Experience in agile methodologies

The WOW-factor

- Previous experience in the Workforce Management/HCM/Payroll Industry.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Experience in understanding high-level APIs frameworks.
- Experience working with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
