Product Manager

We’re now looking for a self-motivated and communicative software Product Manager with a commercial mindset, to join our competent and driven Design and Planning team within our Digital Machining business. Your mission
In this role, you drive the creation of well-made and appreciated digital products – solving our customers’ problems and helping them transform into more digitalized and efficient businesses – by focusing on product development, prioritizing the right direction and getting the whole team to work towards it.
You manage our product plan and product strategy and develop modern ways of working, which you apply to gain insights about markets and customers and transforming it into new product initiatives. Taking responsibility for the whole journey, you ensure that the new products have reached the right commercial readiness level before launch, create sales and marketing guidelines and make sure that we have a competitive offer and develop sales forecasts – always within budget.
As you’re involved in many parts of the development, your days involve contacts with many stakeholders, from sales, marketing, legal and pricing to scrum masters and R&D development leads. You report to our Offer Manager.
This position gives you the flexibility to choose your own working location within a time zone corresponding to Sweden, although some physical presence at our offices in Sandviken or Stockholm is preferred post Covid-19, to strengthen relations and keep a good team spirit. Occasional travel is included in the role.
Your profile
We think you have a background within technical sales, product management, development or similar, where you’ve established a great ability to listen and understand the customers’ perspective and their problems. It’s a plus if you’re used to agile ways of working. You have a relevant degree in you backpack – or even better, a master’s or an MBA. As we act on an international stage, solid written and spoken English is necessary, while Swedish, German or other languages could come in handy.
Although your hard skills are important, your personality is key in this role. As an excellent relation-builder and a good communicator, you know how to connect and gain trust from partners, customers and internal stakeholders. This has also given you an ability to bring teams and stakeholders together to work towards – and reach – common goals. As you already might have suspected, a good business sense, strong drive and an entrepreneurial spirit are also important attributes in this position, to be able to create and drive new initiatives, strategies and plans.
