We are looking for a Product Manager


ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Product Manager at Mini Rodini you play an important role, together with the design team, in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services to make sure they are in line with the company’s objectives. You will be a part of the woven team but work closely with everyone in the buying team as well as other departments at Mini Rodini.

Your tasks will include but not be limited to:


• Purchasing materials in-line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
• Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
• Access and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities.
• Explore alternate sources for goods and materials.
• Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organisational targets and requirements.
• Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers
• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and ensure good communications

The position is a full-time, 12 months temporary position (parental leave cover) starting dec 1st 2021. You will be based at our Stockholm Office and you will report to Head of Buying. 

QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this position we believe that you have the following qualifications and experience: 


• Education within relevant field
• 5 years’ experience from similar positions preferably with a premium brand
• Experience from working with function- and outerwear is an advantage
• Strong communication skills Swedish and English, written and spoken
• Strong track record of negotiating procurement/Buying Terms
• Demonstrated planning, organisation, and Project Management skills
• High Level of experience from MS Office
