Product Manager

Product Manager

Arbetsbeskrivning

Come join us! We’re on a mission to reduce CO2 from buildings and now we are looking for a Product Manager that can help us become the World’s #1 Data Aggregator for the real estate sector!

At Metry, our culture shapes who we are and how we operate: We help, care, and share. We are a talented and ambitious team on an important mission. We work hard when we work 💪, and have serious fun when we have fun 😋.

And just so you know - most of us speak Swedish and it is perfectly fine to send your application in Swedish if you prefer that - as long as you are aware that the company language overall is English. 👍

Your responsibilities
As Product Manager at Metry, you will work with a team of smart and motivated people, including software developers and UX designers. Together you will own the very heart of our offer - the collection of energy data (https://metry.io/en/data-sources/). This has to do with both what we collect and how we do that.

It will be your responsibility to set the direction and make sure that the team members have the necessary background information and scope that they need to keep developing our data collection products. You will also share with them a product mindset that will make this whole concept scalable and efficient.

Besides working with our great developers you will be part of our awesome Product team (https://careers.metry.io/departments/product) and have the opportunity to work closely with a number of external and internal stakeholders, making sure the product development is going in the right direction!

We expect you to know the ins and outs of backlogs, scrum-ish, user stories, and all other product owner-related matters. Apart from this, your job will consist of roadmap planning, requirement gathering, exploration of new business opportunities, and whatever else you see fit to make our product offers better.

We’re looking for...
We take great pride in creating a diverse team of people with a mutual desire to help and care for each other. Whenever you need a hand someone is there to help you out.

Besides sharing our core beliefs, we think you consider yourself clever and efficient, yet humble and listening. You are confident in making and defending your decisions, but you also realize that collaboration and communication are your most valuable tools to success. You have the ability to think strategically and look at things in a holistic way. You are a true “people person” who has the ability to motivate, encourage and support your team to achieve their full potential.

You enjoy engaging with developers as much as customers and other stakeholders. You work independently and take ownership of your work and goals. You are willing to explore and come up with proactive improvements and you know how to not overcomplicate things. You have a structured and data-driven approach to making decisions and prioritizing.

Requirements
- Around 3-5 years of experience working as a product owner or project manager for software

- Fluent in Swedish and English
- A business or technical university degree
- Nice-to-have: Experience from collecting large volumes of data, machine learning, working with stakeholders like property owners, sub-metering installers, and utility providers, experience from energy efficiency products, or having a network in the energy or real-estate sector

What we can offer you
We work in a really nice office (https://www.instagram.com/metry.io/?hl=en) 10 minutes from the central station and have Fantastic Fridays every Friday after lunch. Here, idea-filled, solution-oriented, and excited people meet and discuss various insights and suggestions for improvement. We are an ambitious team motivated by development!

We hope you also want to be part of a tremendous growth journey, both for us as a company and for you personally, where our scalable technology positively impacts the environment and takes us towards a more sustainable society.
