Product Manager

Saab Training & Simulation is the leading provider of high-fidelity training solutions for Live Simulation in the land domain. We are now continuing strengthen our capabilities within product management to grow our business and extend our strong market position. We are now in need of strengthening our current Training Services products managers.

Your role

As a Product Manager, you will develop our product capabilities to meet current and future customer needs. You will work close together with experienced colleagues within the entire business unit. Primarily you will support our Training services product areas but also making sure that all our products are supportable during the entire life cycle. Our product family Training Services have divided our support offering in three phases: Establish support, in-service support and finally End of life support.

* Primary the responsibility of the role is:
* Influence the design of Saabs T&S products to ensure supportability and low LCC (Life cycle cost)
* Create ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) plans for all R&D projects
* Identify and develop our customers support requirements in all phases
* Assist our sales department in the support offer

Your profile

You like working close to the market translating customer needs and requirements to support solutions and communicate them both externally as well as internally. You are business minded and have a genuine interest for generating business on your products in the Training & Simulation portfolio.

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience of working with ILS (Integrated Logistic Support)
* Experience from services and aftermarket business
* Strong business skills
* Communicative with good people skills
* Strong analytic capability
* Fluent in both written and spoken English

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of the Programs & Product Management departments at our head quarter in Huskvarna, Sweden. These departments consist of about 40 employees of which the Product management department today has 15 employees (Product owners and Product managers) and has the overall responsibility of T&S global product portfolio.
