Working as a Product Manager, you will be a key member of the product management team in Force Measurement business line. Your closest colleague will be the Product Line Manager for the Stressometer flatness systems. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to offer the best services to our customers over the entire life cycle of our offering.
You will be able to develop new business and market opportunities. We also want you to take an active part in the development of solutions for our growth segments, such as battery, electrification products, packaging by leveraging digital opportunities.
Sustainability is key in this role, to manage the life cycle of products, systems and advanced services, including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability of Stressometer flatness systems portfolio.
We offer you this newly created position to fuel our growth even more. We are leveraging our successful history with new business opportunities and this role can be designed together with the Product Line Manager. This position requires regular travel, as our business is truly global with customers all over the world.
Your responsibilities
Driving the profitability and evolution of our offering for the best support to our customers over the entire life cycle
Defining pricing guidelines and market position
Overseeing sales volumes to ensure ability to meet customer orders, while tracking and analyzing the performance and trends
Working closely with R&D to propose and evaluate product feasibility projects and roadmaps for new products and services
Providing technical and commercial assistance to the sales team
Guiding, coaching and developing the skills and knowledge of our global sales team

Your background
Preferably 5-10 years of experience in the metal or process industry, working in marketing and sales, product management, R&D or another relevant field
Sound knowledge of our customers, processes and needs is a big advantage
Demonstrated experience of managing marketing and sales strategy
Knowledge and experience of analyzing market trends and requirements, as well as developing service and digital solutions
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills as this position is handling several internal and external stakeholders
A Bachelor or Masters degree in a relevant engineering field
Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of Swedish is beneficial as this position is closely collaborating with the factory based in Västerås, Sweden
