Sandvik Mining and Construction in Sandviken is looking for Product Manager Description The new Product Manager will be responsible for Product Management and Product Service for a chosen range of Top Hammer Tools.This position is within the construction segment but the products are also used in the Surface Mining segment and Underground Hard Rock Mining.Key performance areas .Strategic planning of business development for the product range including introduction of new products into the market.Having correct and updated product documentation available (including Intranet & ST) for the sales and marketing organization..Organizing product specific Product Training for sales and service personnel for the respective products focusing on technical matters..Visiting key customers in conjunction with the CS sales team to provide in-depth product knowledge.This includes help to the aftermarket teams to trouble shoot technical problems..Provide regular feedback to Market Support and Offering teams and local PLMs..Coordinates data from the market for analysis, research and design engineering for the successful development of new product offerings..Ensure consistency of product offering across customer segments. Your profile To succeed in this position you will need to have, strong personal drive together with proven good judgement, a dynamic approach, proven project management skills and a high degree of technical competency.In addition you will have highly developed communication skills, having the ability to express concepts and hold discussions with people who have a range of technical experience with fluency (both written and verbal) in English being a prerequisite.Experience of working in different cultures is also desirable as the position will allow you to work across diverse cultural boundaries.Your educational background is a Mechanical Engineer.
