We are looking for a Product Manager who will be a cornerstone in shaping the presence and the future of Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) Nuclear Steam Generator Tubing business. We emphasize building long-term competency within product management and can offer you a role in a dynamic, international and challenging business.
Key performance areas
As Product Manger you have a strong business focus in one of SMT's largest project businesses. The business is characterized by a high level of complexity, where teamwork plays an important role. You have direct contact with the customer and are responsible for the commercial content of contract negotiations; and to make sure that the customers technical requirements are in line with the production unit's capabilities.
Your main responsibilities include to:
- Be responsible for pricing and commercial contract negotiations
- Strengthen and build on existing and new customer relations
- Monitor the competitive landscape and play an important role in setting the product strategy
- Develop marketing plans and activities along guidelines given by the business unit
- Timely and correctly put together offers based on customers technical and commercial requirements
- Work closely with the production unit to support delivery projects
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Law, or equivalent knowledge, as well as three to five years' experience with international projects, sales and/or marketing. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in writing and in speaking, and additional language skills in Chinese, French or Spanish are advantageous.

Customer focus is a key and you are able to keep commitments and seek feedback to continually deliver customer satisfaction and sustainable value. You also have a passion for results, with a great ability to work in teams and to build relationships, both internally and externally. In order to be successful, you must have a high level of personal drive in combination with strong analytical skills. You are also able to address problem solving in a structured way, letting lasting results outweigh short-term solutions.
