Who are we?
Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is one of the technology areas within Vehicle Motion & Energy Management. ADAS are increasing safety for our drivers and other road users and is a highly prioritized area for Volvo Group. It is one of the fastest-growing safety & convenience application areas due to the desire to reduce vehicular accidents and fatalities. Beyond passive safety systems, active safety systems play a major role in reducing traffic fatalities and the monetary impact of vehicular accidents.


We are now looking for a Product Manager, ADAS to lead the global technology area Advanced Driver Assistance Systems into the future.


Mission
The Mission of the Product Manager ADAS is to lead our Agile Release Train within ADAS, consisting of several Product Owners, both Software and Hardware teams. In this position you will be the voice of the customer within the ART and work with the brands and cross functional stakeholders to understand and communicate their needs. As Product Manager you are responsible for the what & the why. One of many interesting aspects of this role is that you are involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from advanced engineering and into the maintenance phase.
With support from the technology road map for the area, you will have content authority for the program backlog of the ART.

You will be part of the global ADAS leadership team, playing an important role and contributing to setting vision and strategy for ADAS and together we as a team deliver our products.

The following experience and qualifications are required for successfully taking on this role:
Proven Software development and Quality Assurance skills.
Strong personal interest in the area of ADAS & Active Safety
Technical leadership including working in big complex projects
Excellent Communication skills
Experienced leading in change/transformation.
Minimum 10 years of experience from automotive electronics development both software and hardware
