As a Product Manager at Retail & Food Services, you will be responsible for our assortment of alcoholic beverages. You will be working with international brands and suppliers where you will provide an optimized product range to service several customers, including Stena Line.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in the very heart of our company and be a key player in shaping and impacting our strategy forward. You will be reporting to our Head of Product & Purchase and collaborating with our colleagues across the organization, customers, and suppliers.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Creating a purchasing strategy
- Analyzing sales
- Negotiating assortment and pricing with suppliers
- Analyzing data and product KPIs to understand your assortment and develop it
- Forecasting of new and seasonal items as well as campaign products
- Ensuring that the business is run in a safe manner with reduced environmental impact
- Being the main contact person for international brand owners and making sure our company delivers according to the brand values

 
Retail & Food Services AB
Retail & Food Services AB is a leading distributor and wholesaler of Travel Retail products in Northern Europe to several large vendors within mainly the transport sector, but also to airports and other Travel Retail distributors. We trade with the largest Travel Retail brands in the world and provide our customers with services such as warehouse & logistic solutions, revenue management, marketing material, merchandising & development of shop concepts. 

We are based in Malmö with hubs in Gothenburg, Gdynia (Poland), Rostock (Germany), Hoek (The Netherlands), and Holyhead (UK). About 60 colleagues work from our Malmö office.

Who are you?
To be successful in this role, we believe you have deep knowledge and experience within the alcoholic beverage category and continuously want to work towards having the most commercial assortment and exploring new trends. You have an analytical ability in combination with a commercially savvy attitude and know how and what to prioritize. We also believe you are someone who can build trustful relationships with suppliers and colleagues – you facilitate collaboration.

You enjoy working in a high-paced environment where no two days are alike.  

Qualifications:
- Education in finance, purchasing, business management, or equivalent
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Expertise in procurement and category management.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- A strategic and commercial drive with result orientation
- Interest in keeping yourself up to date with industry changes and sustainability demands

Nice to have: 
- Experience in travel retail or the beverage industry 
- Experience in marketing and brand management
- Interest and good knowledge of alcoholic beverages (maybe you’ve worked as a sommelier, bartender, or at Systembolaget?)

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Malmö within Retail & Food Services AB. We offer a hybrid work model, where it’s possible to work from home two days a week.
