Product Manager Apps (Contractor)

As Product Manager Apps (Contract), you will become a core part of the developing work at Hedvig and take the lead on some of the most critical initiatives at the company while having fun with our remarkable team. Note this is a contract position. We will start with a 6-month contract with potential renewal. At Hedvig, we care deeply about our members. One of our core beliefs is that the way to win in a traditionally greedy industry controlled by dinosaurs is to bring new value, transparency, and Niceness to people. As part of the product team, you will harness this obsessive focus on members to understand what problems Hedvig should solve and create solutions to those problems.
What about the role?
Leading the execution of critical initiatives by understanding market needs, user requirements, and technology opportunities.
Re-shaping our product roadmap and product success while our PM is away by owning and articulating end-to-end product requirements across the organization.
Working with remarkable cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and more.
Iterate on and anchor the current product vision
Gather business needs, market opportunities, user needs, and new technology in an ambitious product strategy
Be a spokesperson for Hedvig’s members.

You are a great communicator and proven leader (formal or informal)
You have an analytical mindset while valuing quality above all else.
You have launched several successful digital products as a PM.
You have a genuine interest in apps, their design, and technologies.
You have a sharp product sense that allows you to determine what will work for users, what will most effectively move your metric, and what will be too complex to engineer.
You care about agile software processes, data-driven development, and responsible experimentation.
You have a proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization and in various contexts.
You are a highly motivated and flexible individual who can lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful and timely delivery.
