Product Manager Automotive

Our Driver Monitoring System (DMS) solutions help save lives in traffic by delivering real-time assessment of driver states, such as drowsiness and distraction through innovative AI-based software that uses use in-cabin cameras and sensors.
Role and Responsibilities
In this role your ability to communicate with customers, developers and stakeholders on all levels is key.
You will be the go-to person when it comes to detailed information about our products and recommendations on system solutions for Sales, Business Development and Field Application Engineers. To do this you will also work closely with all parties that are involved on the development side including Systems Architects, Product Owners, Project Managers and Quality Managers. You will also be in the lead for making sure that the product offering is easy to sell, and you must be able to communicate a clear vision of what we do, why we do it and where we are heading.
You will be reporting to the Director of Product Management, Automotive.
Your days will be filled with;
Meeting with customers and coordinating activities in Request For Quotations (RFQ) processes.
Researching customer and user needs to make sure we have the right product at the right time to make our customers successful with Tobii products and solutions.
Defining and prioritizing product requirements in our agile development process together with
Product Owners and Systems Architects.
Collaborating in industry fora and groups such as EuroNCAP and Clepa.
Outlining go-to-market plans and producing the content to back those plans.
Working with industry partners to find joint offerings and solutions that can grow our business



To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:
With our customer in focus, you are confident in diving into technical discussions both internally and externally.
An engineering degree and experience of product management, project management and/or systems engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and have seen more than one company and way of working in your career so far.
Experience in being a stakeholder in agile development processes and/or have participated in RFQ processes for advanced technical products or systems.
Excellent communication skills and are fluently in English, both verbal and written, and have great presentation skills.
