Arbetsbeskrivning

Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we’re expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we’re on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

Who are we?
The Data & Identity Cluster is a part of the Global Online Experience (GOX) area and our mission is to ensure we know our customers well and keep this information safe and secure. We support the rest of the organisation in using this knowledge to serve the customers in a personalised way. We’re looking for someone that will develop and own some of the most foundational products for our digital journey, to iteratively enable a world-class personalised omni-channel customer experience. We have only just begun this journey in earnest, and you’ll be joining us at a time where you can really have a great impact and help us set the tone for the next chapter in our company's history!

What you’ll do
* Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to identify problems, opportunities and solutions that will support the needs of our users and impact our goals and metrics
* Own and prioritize a long-term product roadmap for your area based on a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt and maintenance and support
* Research and discovery for future roadmap items using data and metrics to support decisions and validate the success of your chosen approach
* Work with a variety of cross-functional partners to receive input, get feedback, and keep them informed
* Serve as an evangelist for your products
* Partner with your Engineering Manager to foster a culture of impact and performance
* Work passionately to ensure your team is focusing on the right things, balancing short versus long-term needs

Who you are
* You have experience working with agile development teams building data/backend engineering-heavy products with high quality
* You are able to distill complex information into easy-to-understand concepts, and understand how to lead a team through ambiguity and high demand
* You have experience working with data and insights to understand and measure your work
* You believe that failing fast is a competency to master, not a mistake to hide
* You can translate business requirements into engineering requirements and vice versa.
* You know how to take end-to-end responsibility for the product’s success
* You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas in different formats and to different audiences

Location
Location is in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden.
