Power Solutions as one of four business areas of Scania, is on an impressive growth journey where successful relations with global Original Equipment Manufacturers within the industrial, marine and power generation segments have been key to success. Electrification is now transforming the Power Solutions market and going forward, electrification products and services will be part of our offering alongside combustion engines. If you want to be part of a newly formed e-Mobility Solutions team and drive the exciting electrification journey at Power Solutions as Product Manager then this role is for you!

Power Solutions is a synergy business area, and your work is to identify where, in terms of offering and type of customers, there is a perfect match and what we should develop in terms of products, services, processes and partnerships to succeed to find the right electrification offer to our customers and then lead this work. Initially focus will be on customer pilots to develop the offering and business model to maximise the business case for both customers and Scania.



Your role as Product Manager:


• Responsible for our electrification product portfolio and roadmap and thereby a leading role in setting business, product and service strategies.
• Lead cross-functional work with representatives from sales, product support and technical development to execute our business plan activities both short and long term.
• Leading role in the creation of our total customer offer taking product, service and connectivity offering into account as well as scope of supply, battery risk model, charging structures, TCO/TOE calculations into consideration.
• Work close to markets and key customers to understand industry trends, customer requirements and competitor products.
• Work close with marketing to position Scania in the market.

• The combination of commercial and technical knowledge is important in this role so 5-10 years of commercial and technical work experience is required.
• Previous experience from Product Management and/or Sales considered a merit.
• Have experience of working in an international environment and are accustomed to meet distributors and customers.
• Have a university degree in engineering and/or business administration.
