Power Solutions as one of four business areas at Scania, is on an impressive growth journey where successful relations with global Original Equipment Manufacturers within the industrial, marine and power generation segments have been key to success. Electrification is transforming the market and going forward, hybrid and fully electric products and services will be part of our offering alongside combustion engines. In addition to this batteries will be used in Battery Electric Storage Systems, BESS, where Power Solutions will have a major role to play. If you want to be part of a newly formed e-Mobility Solutions team and drive the exciting electrification journey at Power Solutions then this role is for you!
In this role you have the responsibility to identify which applications and customers that should be our focus based on technological maturity, profitability and volume potential. Your contribution will have a big impact on our strategic direction and you will have a leading role in the cross-functional work executing on our strategy. You will be the bridge between sales and our technical teams and work closely with customers, our business units as well as several teams at Scania CV including sales, R&D and purchasing. As we are a new team you will in your role also have an unique opportunity to shape our way of working within product management.
Your role as Product Manager:
• Responsible for setting the electrification strategy and business plan within your area of responsibility and lead the cross-functional work to execute on decided activities.
• Work close to markets and key customers to understand industry trends, customer requirements and competitor products.
• Consolidate and prioritize customer needs and transfer them into product and services requirements in a portfolio roadmap.
• Work together with our communications department to set an electrification communications strategy and marcom activities plan to successfully position Scania Power Solutions in the market.
• Take a leading role in the creation of our total customer offer taking product, services, connectivity and TCO/TOE calculations into consideration.

• Have a university degree in engineering and/or business administration.
