Who we are
SWEP Solution Support are a shared service team responsible both for support to the R&D and SWEP organization. We are now forming a new enabling ART with focus on the SW development process and related support processes including e.g. System Safety.
What you will do
As a Product Manager you will be a part of the SWEP Solution Support management team. You will have responsibility for the ART backlog which includes e.g. development of Processes, Methods and Education/Presentation material. You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders and customers to understand their needs, define capabilities and prioritize them. You will participate in Pre- and Post PI planning in the own ART, but will also participate in PI planning for other Solutions to understand dependencies.
You and your skills
You have an MSc in Software or Electronics development or equivalent experience. You have very good knowledge in the Volvo Cars SW development process and an understanding of compliance related requirements on the process. You also have experience from working in the process. You have very good skills in communication and can communicate on all levels in the organization. You also have experience from driving large improvement initiatives with an understanding of what is required to successfully implement changes in a large organization.
On a personal level
As a person you are well structured with an analytic approach to your tasks. You are a team-player with a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills. You adapt easily to different situations and specific needs. Strong customer focus, courage, and an ability to balance stakeholders are also important competencies in this role.
