We’re looking for a data-informed and customer-focused Product Manager to join our Commercial Digital team, specifically within the Customer Acquisition cluster at Volvo. In this role you will be part of shaping and defining the email platform and capabilities for our marketers. 

What you’ll do: 
Your primary goal will be to make email a delightful and effective touchpoint in customer journeys while ensuring optimal email deliverability. This role focuses on driving customer acquisition and engagement through email. You’ll be responsible for improving email performance, reducing complaint rates, optimizing consent collection, and enhancing our Communication Preference Center. Although you’ll collaborate closely with the marketing department, this is a product management role within a digital, customer acquisition-focused team. 

* You will ensure optimal email deliverability by continuously monitoring and refining delivery processes.
* Collaborate with internal tech teams to meet industry standards and minimize bounce and spam rates. 
* You will be responsible for the email campaign lifecycle, ensuring alignment with broader digital acquisition strategies.
* You will partner with the marketing team to ensure that campaign content resonates with Volvo's premium brand and customer expectations.
* You will elevate the email experience through personalization, segmentation, and ongoing A/B testing.
* You will be responsible to ensure that the email communication strengthens Volvo's position as a premium brand, improving engagement and retention. 
* Oversee and improve consent rates, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
* Work to align Volvo’s consent practices with industry best standards, while making opt-in processes clear and engaging. 
* Proactively identify patterns in unsubscribe and complaint data to reduce negative feedback. Work with cross-functional teams to address underlying causes and improve customer satisfaction. 
* Oversee Volvo’s Communication Preference Center, ensuring customers have a seamless and user-friendly experience when selecting how and when they want to hear from us. 
* Collaborate with teams across commercial digital, global offer, customer service, local markets and global marketing to integrate email campaigns into the broader customer acquisition strategy and ensure consistent messaging. 


Who you are: 
* Proven experience as a Product Manager in a digital customer acquisition or engagement role. 
* Experience in working with email marketing tools, CRM platforms e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent systems and metrics metrics like Return on Investment (ROI), Conversion Rate, Spam Complaint Rate, Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT).
* Good understanding of email deliverability best practices and regulatory compliance (GDPR). 
* Experience collaborating with marketing departments and managing cross-functional campaigns.
* Analytical mindset, able to use data to optimize performance and inform decisions. 
* Significant communication skills and a customer-first approach.
