Are you our next Product Manager for Extended Product Coverage?
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The Parts and Service organisation (KP) is responsible for the aftermarket business within Scania CV AB. Our mission is to develop the parts and service business with a long-term global perspective to secure the objectives for sales, volumes, and profitability.
This job suits you who wants a key role in our transformation in being a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. Scania parts and service business has had a rapid growth in sales and here you really have the chance to be part of developing our business!
Your tasks
The focus for a Product Manager is to run our existing business offers through our Business Units towards our global customers and create solutions for new strategic areas such as hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
Your work is cross functional and requires cooperation both internally and externally stakeholders. A few examples of working tasks for a Product Manager are:
• Support Scania Business Units in their contract business and plans.
• Develop and maintain our current Extended Product Coverage products and strategies.
• Develop and support the pricing structure and strategy for our products.
• Ensure availability of cost reference data and pricing intelligence.
• Stay updated on marketing trends and competitor products.
• Collect, define and communicate product demands on processes and systems.
• Actively take part in the improvement work of Contracted Services.
Your profile
As a person you are curious of our customers' needs, and competitors’ products and marketing, open minded, team player, result driven. You are familiar to and like to work in a vision and value-driven company with a clear business idea and objectives.
A University degree in engineering with an interest in technology is required.
