Product Manager for Design-in

Role Summary/Purpose
We are looking to strengthen our Product Manager team with a product manager for the design-in product portfolio. This role will have a broad responsibility to drive and manage design-in product portfolio associated with the BioProcess chromatography resins.

Essential Responsibilities
Design-in of GE Healthcare?s products into a customer?s manufacturing process for a a bio-pharmaceutical drug product implies a long-term supply commitment with great potential for future revenues. Successful design-in is an advanced and delicate mission that is critical to secure future revenues from BioProcess chromatography resins.

Design-in of BioProcess chromatography resins typically takes place during early development of a future drug product. The customer?s process development procedure involve establishment of a robust process capable to adapt to variations for a great number of parameters.

Essential responsibilities include:

Manage and maintain the current design-in product portfolio
Build the future design-in product portfolio offering by initiate and drive new R&D development projects for new design-in formats and services
Work closely with supply chain to maintain the correct inventory levels in our global ware houses to ensure short lead times of the design-in products to our customers
Develop and fine-tune the services targeting customer?s Process Development initiatives
Identify key market segments and create awareness of GE Healthcare?s offerings within these segments.
Work cross functionally to, from the business perspective, drive global design-in activities
Work closely with the regional teams to provide back-office and customer facing support to secure design-in wins
Drive design-in reporting activities for stake holders and upper management including win/loss analysis
Qualifications/Requirements
As the role is considered complex, the candidate is expected to have seniority and long term experience of the life science industry. The candidate must have a strong technical back ground and practical experiences , from a life science R&D environment or equivalent. It is also an advantage if the candidate has previous experience from marketing, product management or a commercial role. The role requires global travel and face-to-face interaction with global customers, and hence the candidate needs to understand customer values and perspectives.

As the applicant will present to upper management, weI will look for a person with executive presence and good ability to deliver a complex message in a clear and concise way. Experiences from multi-variate analysis mathematical statistics are advantageous.
