Product Manager for Digital Solutions - Rock Tools Services

Within division Rock Tools, we have in-depth understanding of our customers’ requirements and provide them with everything from on-site support to training and a suite of digital solutions. In all of this, our Product Line Services team work actively to support the ones working alone, whether underground or on the surface.

About the job
As Product Manager for Digital Solutions, you’re responsible for product planning, development and collaboration in implementation of digitalized products and product enhancements and you own the numbers and figures for this area. This includes setting the direction and managing new product offerings, upgrades and improvements throughout the entire product life cycle. You define the product vision and strategy, gather and prioritize requirements, and perhaps most importantly, you work closely with our product organization and key stakeholders to deliver a strong suite of solutions. Other important items on your agenda are finding ways to deliver software solutions successfully and repeatably for our customers and our sales teams – enabling us to always stay ahead of the game.
You update our management team on plans, solutions, opportunities and dependencies, and you create strong collaborations with internal departments, IT and third-party business suppliers. Working alongside with our marketing team, you also support promotion of our products and ensure that both business value and customer goals are met. All in all, you set our digital product roadmap and make sure we’re successful in the market.
Travel is included as a natural part of your job and you report to the Vice President of Product Line Services for Rock Tools.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a relevant experience or degree, such as IT, Digital or Software Development, combined with an industry background and the experience of coding, digital product development or driving a digital product strategy. You have a strong technical aptitude and are used to simplifying complex concepts, while understanding of cloud solutions, relevant hardware and knowledge of BI and analytics are very beneficial. You’re also skilled in project and stakeholder management and have experience from leading and developing teams. Since we act on the global stage, you need to be fluent in verbal and written English.
You mix a commercial business mind with strong digital understanding to create trust among both customers and colleagues, and you make sure to execute and follow up on our strategies to achieve results.
