Do you want to be a part of the team that will form the future In Service Support offers for our products? Product Unit Countermeasures and Aircraft Systems at Saab Business Area Surveillance is building up a strategic capability for after sales services and are now looking for a Product Manager.
Your role
As a Product Manager, you are responsible of planning and execute tasks related to achievement of commercial success of the assigned products/services. The role of the Product Manager in this context is to initiate, do, follow up and act as coordinator or team leader for the activities. This includes analyses of life-cycle profitability, competitive strengths and requirements for the product/service, including all handling aspects during the products life cycle including sales support activities and phase out.
You will be responsible for strategy, roadmaps and specification of products/services within Product Support & Solutions. Management of existing product lines, increasing profitability, setting of Profit & Loss goals for each product/services and establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements. You will analyze and define market opportunities. As a Product Manager you will also lead cross-functional teams to realize product/service concepts and bring them to market.
The main tasks for a Product Manager are:
* Strategy, Business and Product development, Product Capability Plan
* Product Roadmap preparation for the assigned products
* Investment Plan preparation
* Market requirements analysis and analysis of market trends
* Business Case preparation
* Product Life Cycle Plan preparation
* Secure relevant end-user analysis
* Recommend development (make and/ or buy), maintenance or phasing out functionality and products
* Change Request preparation
* Marketing & Sales support, RFI/RFP/RFQ
* Product catalogue and commercial product structure preparation
* Prepare business supporting documentation
* Product performance monitoring
* Realization and follow up of product decisions
* Order needed investigations, documentation and updates,
e.g. Supply strategy, Commercial packaging & pricing, Market information.

The Product Manager role requires the following skills:
* Master degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
* Systematic and structured approach
* Strong business understanding and customer focus
* Strong drive, perseverance and ability to generate energy
* Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, written and verbal
* The ability to work well with many different people and professions is a key to success and excellent communication skills is required
* Product management skills

* Knowledge of manage services in an after sales business
* Experience from aviation industry
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
