What you’ll do
We are looking for a Product Manager Future Retail Platform that will take lead on developing a 360-degree retail partner management solution that enables our retail partners to efficiently operate the business relationship with Volvo Cars, to provide an outstanding service to both prospects and customers and to support the further growth of our online direct business.
You will lead a talented, high-performing product team that is embedded within Global Online Experience. Your team takes a key role in developing a “one-stop shop” solution for our retail partners which gives them access to all modules and functionalities needed in the day-to-day execution of our online direct sales business, including sales management, service operations, performance management, training & communication.
You will be working in partnership with engineers, designers, analysts, and scrum masters in a cross-functional matrixed team. You will develop the long-term product vision, tactical product release strategy, and drive execution of product releases based our future Retail Partners work in securing our business in our physical retail outlets. You will also initiate and lead the collaboration with key stakeholders within Volvo Cars such as Online Commercial and Global Retail that is required to ensure commercial success.
You and your skills
You are a customer-obsessed leader and accountable for its success and business impact. You have a passion for the customer and ideally have a background in creating user experiences that are best-in-class, advocating a user research, experimentation, and data-driven approach. You solve problems going from the customer requirements based on consumer insights and data to how the technology works, and have an ability to quickly translate a business opportunity or need into product and technology dependencies. We also believe that you have an entrepreneurial mindset and are motivated by commercial success.
* 5+ years of Product Management experience leading consumer-facing products experiences
* Proven track record of successfully implementing new concepts or programs in a fast-paced, digital retail environment
* Ideally sector experience in the field of Automotive Retail, Automotive Sales, Retail, Auto Dealership
* Ability to think end-to-end, and champion the digital experience but also understand the entire customer journey including Retail Stores
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree preferred; education concentrated in business or technology fields is preferred
* Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and associated tools preferred
* Possess strong decision making and prioritization skills
* Excellent communicator, you are used to interacting with a wide set of stakeholders and to get buy-in for your ideas and roadmaps
