Arbetsbeskrivning
Star Stable consists of almost 200 employees, and our games have a positive impact on the lives of many girls and young women. We provide high-quality experiences for our players, and it is a mission we take seriously and find very fulfilling.
Our MMO has been hugely successful with over 22 million registered players, and now, we are also publishing games developed by other studios. We have already released Star Stable Horses on iOS and Android, and we have other exciting projects in the pipeline.
We want you to find and manage new games to expand our portfolio and reach more girls and women!
What will you do?
You will seek out new and exciting games for us to publish, leading them from idea to signing. This means you will:
- Understand the needs and spaces in our portfolio for games that fulfill our company vision.
- Collaborate and work closely with your peers (e.g. Product Marketing Manager and Product Data Analyst) to find and evaluate opportunities that can provide a strong business case.
- Meet with studios and build trusting relationships with them.
Once a new game is signed on, we want the studio to feel empowered and work rather autonomously. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the studio has the right conditions for success. You should:
- According to the needs of the project and studio, provide the expertise and support that sets them up for success.
- Collaborate with the studio and our internal teams (BI, Marketing, Customer Experience, and so on), to gather and act upon relevant insights throughout development and release.
- Provide the studio with an outside perspective that ensures the game remains in line with its vision - and in turn, is also in line with our portfolio and company vision.
- Stay in close communication with our Executive Management Team, keeping them informed of the progress and P&L of our projects. Together, you will recommend and make decisions that are key to the future of the project.
Who are you?
- You have at least 4 years of relevant experience from the video game industry.
- You have preferably worked within a production or product management role - or a very similar role.
- It is extra meriting if you have worked within publishing as well as a development studio.
- You are very comfortable with numbers and planning, especially pertaining to roadmaps, project cost, and product sales.
- You consider yourself a strong communicator. You can convey your needs very clearly, ask the questions that will take us to the core of an issue, and keep stakeholders informed along the way.
- You naturally feel a strong sense of responsibility towards your project and your peers. Things rarely fall through the cracks under your umbrella.
- At heart, you find relationships to be rewarding. You seek them out, and tend to establish trusting and honest relationships over time.
- Your English is nearly flawless, both verbally and in writing.
What we offer you:
- A pretty sweet mission. We want to build quality games and entertainment experiences for girls and we take that vision very seriously. We strive to hit that mark every single day.
- We may be a big group, but we’re a tight-knit team! A diverse team of friendly, fun, and supportive co-workers from 20 different countries!
- We’re more than 50% female identifying! #YES to #WomenInTech!
- Flexible working opportunities.
- We’re known to throw good parties from time to time.
- 30 Vacation Days.
- ITP1 Insurance plan.
- 5,000 SEK per year Health allowance.
- Parental pay top up to 90%
