Sandvik Materials Technology is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a world leading manufacturer of high-value-added products in stainless steel materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials and process systems.The product areas comprise Tube, Strip, Wire and Heating Technology, Process Systems and MedTech.The High Temperature business represents an important part of our sales, and is included in Product Area Tube, which is the largest Product Area within Sandvik Materials Technology.We are looking for a Product Manager, responsible for marketing and sales of our High Temperature products.The Product Manager needs a strong ability to lead and develop the global business for our products in the segments within the area.Key performance areas The Product Manager will work in close cooperation with our sales units, the production units, both in Sandviken and globally, and customers.The Product Manager should feel confident representing Sandvik at conferences, giving presentations about Sandvik High Temperature products and conducting internal training.As a Product Manager you are responsible for the development and execution of the Product Strategy and Global Product Plan including: - Product portfolio - Pricing strategy - Supply and sourcing strategy - Branding strategy - Sales promotions and marketing strategy - Business intelligence You will develop and implement the Product strategy by maximizing sales in line with PU-requirements and existing products and also ensure product renewal.You will also support Sales Units in handling of inquiries and offering, act as Business Team Leader for the product, and engage in close cooperation and relationship building with our key customers, as well as our production/sales units.All of this is crucial for the successful applicant.Your profile You hold a BS in Engineering or BS in Business Administration and Finance or a similar qualification.Relevant working experience is five to ten years in an international environment, as well as experience in marketing and sales.Your computer skills include spreadsheets, databases, graphics, word processing and use of the Internet.It is essential that you are fluent in English.Knowledge of Swedish and German is a plus. A genuine interest in business development and customer relations is something that is self-evident for you.You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to perform in a team-oriented, continuous improvement environment.You are self-motivated and have a genuine interest in business.We want you to be a team player and we value openness and trust.You will be travelling up to 30% of the time, mainly internationally.
