Your mission
As a Product Manager, Machine Automation, you will play an important part in shaping our future by bringing competitive, profitable and innovative Machine Automation solutions to our current and potential customers, addressing their current and future needs.
Your mission in this role will be to lead products life cycle while taking full ownership of products:
In the initial phase, you will be responsible for developing product strategy and roadmap based on understanding of customers, applications, market segments, and competition.
In the phase from development to launch you will define product functional specs, based on understanding of customer's problem, prepare business cases and make 'go' / 'no-go' recommendation. In case of 'go' recommendation, you will plan and execute launch.
After a successful launch, you will train our Customer Centres to sell product and support them in their sales activities. You will collect their ideas and monitor product performance and take action based on them.
Additionally, you will follow and take active role in improving product safety, quality, and lead time throughout product lifetime.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you should have minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Engineering or Sales Organisation and a University degree in Engineering or Business (other degrees or equivalent experience will be considered). You have a good knowledge of technology landscape and trends, including IoT / digital and are able to understand customer needs, market, and competition.
An ideal candidate for the role is an innovator with a commercial mindset and an ability to make decisions, influence, and execute. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, be independent and strongly customer-focused. You are able to foster a collaborative work environment and perform in a team oriented environment.
This is a global role, therefore, you should have great communication skills in English (speaking and writing) and be open to regular global travel.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Regular global travel would be required in this role. In case a candidate from a different country applies and is successful, Swedish local terms and conditions will apply.
