Arbetsbeskrivning
Mentimeter’s vision is to transform presentations and meetings into fun and interactive experiences by making it easy to listen and to be heard. We believe in giving everyone a voice, in every meeting and presentation. We are building a modern, friendly, and diverse product-first tech company based in Stockholm and we want you to join us!
The role
We’re currently looking for a new Product Manager and leader to join us and help us develop our product and make it even more appealing to our more than 200 million users.
As a Product Manager within the Monetization area, you’ll work with the strategy and roadmap for our upgrade experience from free to paid, and between the various paid product tiers. Who are our users who choose to pay for the unlimited Mentimeter experience - what characterizes their usage and what motivates them to renew, add licenses or pick another plan? Together with your cross-functional team and in close collaboration with our Business Development team and the Product Area Lead, you'll identify opportunities to optimize upgrade funnels and nurture customers at different touch points along the user journey.
The right person for this role is analytical and driven to deliver business results, and wants to understand customers’ purchasing decisions better through experimentation with business model tweaks, product trials and upselling & pricing strategies in different markets.
It will be your responsibility to create, prioritize and maintain product backlogs according to business value and ROI and lead a product team in achieving goals set by you and the product management team. You’ll also be the product owner for parts of the user experience, involving primarily the paid user journey, and lead continuous product discovery together that informs the roadmap for your area. This requires people skills, leadership, technical understanding, project management and really nice communication skills (verbal, written and conceptual).
We seek someone who has the ability to understand the Mentimeter team, product and customer. A creative and data-driven soul with a problem-solving mindset who can transfer solutions and ideas into requirements, stories, and teamwork for a smooth execution, while inspiring the people around you with your vision.
Responsibilities for the Product Manager role:
Keep a happy and efficient team
Ensure that great features, enhancements, and bug fixes are shipped, making thoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights with the rest of the company
Own the strategy for your product value stream and collaborate with the Product Area Lead on defining the overall commercial product roadmap
Set, refine as well as monitor key metrics continuously
Draft hypotheses of features and improvements to implement, design, run and evaluate product experiments aimed at driving KPIs such as paid subscription conversion and retention
Identify and develop necessary decision material
Manage internal and external stakeholders
Help Mentimeter form an effective and agile product team structure as the team grows
Must haves for the role:
Collaboration and stakeholder management skills, as you will be working with many different functions and people
Ability to break down complex projects into manageable pieces and prioritize different options based on business value
Skilled at managing yourself and handling many different tasks in parallel
Ability to say no (to developers, to sales, to customers, and to Johnny) and back up your decisions with data, business cases and user research
An analytical mind, using data to identify opportunities and skilled at evaluating experiment results
A general understanding of the commercial aspects of a software product such as sales strategy, pricing, business model etc.
Interest in presentation software and their use cases
Worked as Product Manager or in similar roles for 5+ years
A desire to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Bonus skills:
Experience managing a SaaS subscription product
Have successfully driven measurable improvements in the product life cycle (e.g. growth, engagement, conversion, retention)
An interest in coaching people in their personal and professional development
A generalist attitude and someone who enjoys switching between strategic discussion and tactical hands-on work
Experience from leadership in agile (Scrum/Kanban) and cross-functional teams and being a supporting force to developers
Experience in line/people management
