Product Manager - Network Audio

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Network Audio Product Management team within our New Business organization.

Who is your future team?
Network Audio is a fast-growing product area within Axis where you will strengthen the team of Product Managers managing our expanding product portfolio of Network Speakers, Management Software and System Devices.

What you'll do here as Product Manager
As Product Manager in the Network Audio team, you will have your focus in the System Devices category of products where you will manage the entire product life cycle. You will create products from existing and new ideas, develop new products based on Axis industry experience, contact with the market and new innovations

System devices is hardware products that end users interact with to control the system and products used to interface with analog and digital audio. You will have a close cooperation with the product managers responsible for Network Speakers and Management software in your team, ensuring the total system offering. You will also work close with product specialists, R&D team and other departments such as marketing, sales and business development to define go-to-market strategies, product positioning & market communication.

Your main responsibilities with focus in System Devices product category will include but not be limited to:

* Define products to meet and fulfill the Network Audio strategy and roadma
* Act as key interface towards R&D during product development
* Inform and train the sales force at new product launches
* Analysis of Competition and market needs
* Maintain and develop good business relations with internal and external stakeholders

The position requires more than 30 days of travelling.

As Product Manager, it is important to enjoy spending time in the market to understand needs and based on that, specify innovative solutions for the market. You must have broad experience from both business and technology, preferably with knowledge from Audio applications.

You have excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. We believe that you have the ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts. You have a structured way of solving and attacking tasks and issues, yet a flexible mindset, enjoy high pace and open to change.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* Several years of experience as product manager for hardware products being parts of complex system solutions
* Experience from IP based systems and solutions, audio would be an extra merit
* Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent product
* Interest and knowledge in technology and software development
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
