To support our continuing growth, NKT’s Offshore Service & Installation team is in search of a experienced offshore/marine engineer who can join our team as a Product Manager for our power cable service offerings (focusing on submarine cables). Our services range from reducing the risk of cable failures (e.g., cable surveys) to improvements in the delivery of cable repairs (e.g. cable storage). The ideal candidate will have some background or training in product and/or project management, with an ability to think strategically and easily communicate about ideas across design, engineering, and operations as well as with commercial and client stakeholders.

The Role:
As a Product Manager for Service & Installation, you will lead product development and improvement projects, including the development of sales and delivery tools, methods and materials (pricing tools, marketing materials, technical documentation etc.) with a special focus on products for maintenance, failure prevention, repair preparation and execution of offshore power transmission solutions. To succeed in this role, you should have a high degree of technical affinity and business acumen in order to critically think through product ideas from both technical and economical perspectives. Strong leadership skills, empathy, and appreciation for diversity are also essential for success in a role where you'll be leading cross-disciplinary and cross-departmental product implementation teams. 
Responsibilities:
* Work on the creation and standardization of sales, operations, and technical materials for new and existing products (with a focus on offshore), as well as managing their periodic reviews and updates.
* Independently manage cross-organizational implementation teams and relevant stakeholders; from defining product idea, through investment, to complete implementation.
* Provide input on product concepts and drive data analysis of research required to substantiate business cases.

Qualifications / Experience:
* Education in Engineering, ideally at a master’s level or above; additional business training (e.g. an MBA) is a big plus.
* 3-5 years’ work experience, of which at least 2 years has been in a marine or offshore engineering environment.
* Commercial or project management experience is a big plus; courses or traning in product development, business analytics, strategy and/or marine engineering would be useful as well.
* Full Professional Proficiency in English is mandatory, Swedish is a big plus.
* High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook  
* Familiarity with AutoCad and Solidworks (or similar).
* Experience with GIS mapping software is a big plus.
* Experience in CRM/SAP is a big plus.
