The opportunity
Your mission is to define the Omnichannel product strategy and roadmap priorities within Worldline Acceptance, in line with the WL product strategy and Go2Market expectations and help to bring new product offering to life.
As such, you are responsible for your product area (Omnichannel), its product life cycle and profitability. You have a deep understanding of the market and the competition and use that to drive the product forward.


Your day-to-day responsibilities include
Strategy & research
Analyse competition and market
Analyse client feedback
Assess ideas on their business value and technical feasibility
Present and share vision to client, management, and stakeholders

Roadmap
Define the Omnichannel product strategy and prioritize the roadmap, both for Omnichannel service hub and for possible platform combinations.
Get/use input from the Go2Market (i.e. marketing, sales, strategy, partnerships teams, verticals), and other internal/external stakeholders (i.e. commercial acquiring, digital services, customer services, operations, compliance, legal)
Create business initiatives, based on your strategic understanding and vision of the market, and support the Product Owners in translating into detailed requirements, to get them prioritized into the development backlog.
Ensure budget availability for the roadmap items.
Make and own the business case for new features to be implemented and act as gatekeeper for requests
Manage processes (DMB/ Rapid) for initiation of new initiatives and allocation for budget/demand
Support the execution of sales process (communication, documentation, training). This includes the production of content, presentations of the product to the sales organization, and the support of this organization to ensure the good positioning of the Product
Manage timely execution of pilots, and collaborate with the project team to ensure progress and resolve issues
Ensure the pricing of the product is constructed with the support of the Marketing and the Pricing team

Product life-cycle/ Profitability products
Get/use input from market, verticals and company strategy and quantify the market
Get/use input from specific merchants and quantify the merchant business
Articulate, monitor and provide insight into drivers of the product component objectives, KPIs, USPs, etc
Manage lifecycle of solutions (new dev / phase out etc.)
Manage profitability of own product set (multiple components). Understand usage/ revenues and costs associated.

Stakeholder management
Coordinating role for deliveries between multiple product management teams
Coordinating role between GBDs (i.e. Financial Services, Commercial Acquiring and Digital Services) and with the internal teams of Omnichannel and Shared Services
Manage expectations of internal/external stakeholders.
Support Go2market (training, Sales collateral, Marketing) for the new product introductions, both internally and towards clients. Evangelize & train the trainer
Participate in client meetings as subject matter expert

Omnichannel community
Build and animate a cross teams (product, innovation, etc...) omnichannel community
Review business cases, POC opportunities, etc, to ensure all omnichannel related initiatives align to a common omnichannel strategy

Keep in touch with the (Fintech) innovation space to follow key trends and drive new ideas in the innovation funnel.

Knowledge of specific business area in payments industry
Able to work in a role that combines both strategic and operational tasks in a highly dynamic organization

Strong analytical skills, able to effectively process and structure large amounts of information
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization, including senior management
Quick learner; able to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing and demanding environment
Ability to manage own time, workload and conflicting priorities
Work under pressure
A natural leader that creates support and is comfortable in taking decisions based on input from stakeholders and product vision
A strong team player, who supports the team and puts team and business objectives first
Self-starting. Showing drive and initiatives that supports the business goals.



Skills we can't do without
A good understanding of product management
Master’s degree or equivalent university education within IT, Business administration or other applicable areas
Proven and documented skills in similar positions
5+ years of experience in working in the payment eco system
Extensive experience from working with products and/or partner and client relationships
Understanding international business and properties
Well-developed meeting facilitation skills
Business and result orientated
A true team player that doesn’t see geographical distance as hinder
Willing and able to travel on a regular basis
Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written).
