For the further development of online sales - we will strengthen our product organization with Product Managers, each leading one of our consumer-facing digital product teams working dedicated to transforming Volvo Cars into an online sales company. We offer a key role in transforming Volvo Cars into an empowered product team company where you get to work in a true global setting with product teams in Sweden and US and with colleagues all over the world.

What you’ll do
The Product Manager will be part of the product cluster Consumer Acquisition & Selling, responsible for driving the future online sales experience. This role is for one of the teams responsible for the consumer-facing experience and you will be part of a team of engineers, UX specialists, analysts, and scrum masters. You will develop product strategy and define product roadmap based on an integrated understanding of customer behavior, business direction, anticipated market trends and the possibilities of technology. You will communicate strategy and roadmap to stakeholders and your product team, getting input and buy-in. 

You will develop the long-term product vision, tactical product release strategy, and drive the execution of product releases – working closely and collaboratively with other key functions within Volvo Cars like marketing, brand and offer teams, in addition to our technology organization.

You and your skills
You are a customer-obsessed leader for your consumer-facing digital product, and are accountable for its success. You have a passion for the customer and creating user experiences that are best-in-class, using a data-driven approach. You solve problems going from the customer to how the technology works, and have an ability to quickly translate customer opportunities or needs into product and technology dependencies. We see that you value designing user-centric experiences with deep empathy for the customer, specific to true consumer needs based on consumer insights and data. We also believe that you have an entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by commercial success.

* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree preferred; education concentrated in business or technology fields is preferred
* 5+ years experience in product management for consumer digital products, preferably within e-commerce
* Expertise in and experience with consumer-facing mobile web and/or apps is highly preferred
* Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and associated tools preferred
* Experience of working tightly together with both tech and design/UX from early stages
* With the multiple Product Manager roles, we are equally interested in experience working with user-facing products as well as candidates with more technical and architectural product management skills.
