Service Portfolio & Delivery is overall responsible for the Scania’s global service offerings in the Scania group. We have an exciting time ahead, transforming our business models to meet global development and technological shifts, turning risks into opportunities. We are now strengthening the team with a new Product Manager, with main responsibility to manage, develop and enhance our global service offerings. These services make sure our customers and partners stay ahead of their game; an increasingly important aspect in a time of transformation. These services also make sure that we stay in control of the customer’s experience of Scania over time ensuring us as an attractive partner throughout the transformation of our industry.
Your tasks
The main responsibility of the Product Manager is to commercially manage services to make sure our products and services are in peak condition throughout their life cycle. These services form a foundation for the customers experience of Scania over time and has a big impact on our customers total operating economy.
This is achieved by steering and shaping the services markets strategy and working through close cooperation with other functions to develop product properties, processes and solutions that ease sales and delivery of our services.
As Product Manager you are responsible for setting the strategic direction for your business area. You will be up to date on trends within the industry and will work closely with our global service network to make sure the services we develop and offer are relevant and attractive to our customers. You will follow-up on the commercial performance and support our service network to improve their sales performance.
Your profile
We are looking for an entrepreneurial person with a strong customer focus mindset and a relevant academic degree (e.g. engineering/business). Good communication skills, enthusiasm and a keen eye for new business opportunities is great to have in this position. In this role, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment, and a key success factor will be your ability to establish new collaborations and motivate others. A large degree of flexibility both in terms of skillset and being prepared to handle fast changing situations is highly valued. Experience from Scania’s business model and commercial system is meriting.
Fluent English skills in both speaking and writing are mandatory. The position requires traveling.
