About us
Joint Academy is a global leader in delivering digital treatment for chronic joint pain, connecting patients with licensed physical therapists. Backed by science, our clinically validated treatment programs include individualized exercises, interactive education and tracking tools. The intersection of digital treatment and data science opens up new possibilities of treating patients in a sustainable and more personal way, while reducing pain and improving quality of life.
With Joint Academy, you’re joining a scaleup with a global reach beyond its origins in Sweden, treating patients in five markets across two continents. The majority of our Product and Engineering team is located in Sweden. However, this position is remote-eligible if you are a citizen of the EU, UK, US or Canada, and located in a European time zone.
The opportunity
Communication between a patient and their physical therapist is a highlight of Joint Academy’s successful digital treatment programs. Patients and physical therapists can interact asynchronously (like via messaging) or synchronously (such as with a video call), allowing for flexibility and constant communication throughout the patient’s journey.
As the Product Manager for the Patient Interaction team, you’ll lead a cross-functional team of engineers and UX experts to take patient and physical therapist communication to the next level. You will work within the Clinicians product area, meaning your focus will be on clinical and regulatory needs; however, you will also need to ensure an excellent experience for patients by working very closely with teams in the Patient product area.
Product management at Joint Academy
Product Managers are responsible for defining the product strategy, vision and roadmap and are accountable for value and outcomes in their product areas.
We collaborate closely with partners across the organization, staying close to our users and stakeholders to build empathy and insights. Together with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, researchers and analysts, we hypothesize, build, ship, validate and iterate on user-focused, high-quality apps and services.
We favor outcomes over output, formulate hypotheses and validate them, and leverage a modern product stack to build world-class products to serve healthcare providers and patients everywhere.
