Dräger is a fifth-generation family business from Germany with approximately 15,000 employees worldwide. Dräger Norden has about 180 employees with offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland and we are now looking for a Nordic Product Manager Patient Monitoring & IT. The location of the role is flexible and can be remote.
The position
In this role, you are specialized in the products in Patient Monitoring & IT and as such responsible for net sales and Global Gross Profit (GGP). You will also be responsible for marketing strategy, short-term marketing actions as well as application support throughout the Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark).
What will you do?
Organizing local events for users to promote Dräger products and to support Dräger solutions building on our role as a trusted advisor will be an important part of your job, as will planning and organizing demos of equipment for complex sales and strategic accounts.
Your tasks will include to plan and execute product launches for new and existing products in the Nordic markets, drive revenue, profitability and market share through the development and implementation of measures. You do this by using the entire marketing mix, e.g. obtaining and maintaining customer references, evaluation of various sales channels, corrective actions, promotions. You will also do regular analyses of the business development and short-term activities of competitors as well as deriving of fields of actions.
The Nordic Product Manager is responsible for the assigned Customer Area and the Key Application Fields in terms of marketing strategy as well as short-term marketing actions and application support throughout the Nordics.
Who are you?
We believe that you have several years of work experience from Marketing/Product Management/Technical sales in a B2B company and have a university degree in medical or engineering. It is important to us that you have a genuine interest in IT and have a strong technical comprehension, preferably worked in a similar role before alternatively have a specialized nurse background with vast experience of using patient monitoring equipment and a great interest for technology and IT
You are a team player with effective interpersonal skills who can work effectively with personnel in various departments and countries and at various levels to achieve the objects of the organization
Since you frequently will interact with customers, and/or functional peer group members and managers, effective communication, and presentations skills at negotiation level in English as well as verbal and written knowledge of at least one Scandinavian language is crucial.
